The challenge.

18,000 SKUs and a category-led shopping pattern (food, toys, medication, accessories) had to coexist with a fast, mobile-first storefront. The previous platform choked on catalogue size and conversion on mobile sat well below benchmark.

Our approach.

Re-architected on a React frontend with a Spring Boot backend and a denormalised product index. Aggressive image optimisation, search-first navigation, and a one-screen checkout. Performance budgets enforced in CI.
